Fairdos is operated by Jaspar Solutions Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 11261735, registered office [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS]. In these terms, "we", "us" and "Fairdos" mean that company; "you" means anyone using the app.

By using Fairdos you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use it. You must be at least 13 years old to use Fairdos, and at least 18 to buy an unlock.
Fairdos is a record-keeping tool. It keeps track of what a group has spent and works out who owes whom.
It follows that any debt between members of a group is between those members. We are not a party to it, we cannot enforce it, and we cannot recover money for you if someone doesn't pay.
Anyone can join a group by following an invitation link, without creating an account. You only need an account to buy an unlock, because a purchase has to belong to someone.
Whoever creates a group is responsible for who they invite. Only add people who are actually part of the arrangement, and only share invitation links with them — anyone holding the link can see that group's expenses.
You are responsible for what you enter. Fairdos calculates balances accurately from the figures the group provides; it cannot know whether those figures are right. If someone types £400 instead of £40, the maths will be correct and the answer will be wrong.
Please don't use Fairdos to break the law, to harass anyone, to record transactions that are themselves unlawful, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or to upload anything you don't have the right to upload. We may suspend or remove access if you do.
One live group at a time is free, permanently, with every feature enabled and no advertising. When that group is unlocked, closed or expires, the free slot becomes available again.
Refunds. Because purchases are processed by Apple and Google, refunds are handled by them under their own policies, not by us. If something has gone wrong, contact us anyway — we would rather help than have you fight with a store.
The fee inside your group. When someone unlocks a group, the app may add the cost to the group as an ordinary expense so it can be shared. That is a bookkeeping entry only. No money moves through Fairdos, we do not collect anything from other members, and whoever paid can edit or remove that line.
Fairdos deletes inactive groups automatically. A free group is removed 90 days after its last activity; an unlocked group after 3 years. We warn members 14 days, 7 days and 1 day beforehand, and deliver a complete copy of the group to members' devices before removing it from our servers.
This is a deliberate feature, not a limitation, and it is described fully in our Privacy Policy. Keep the copy we send you if you need a long-term record — once a group is deleted from our servers we cannot get it back.
We aim to keep Fairdos running but we can't promise it will always be available — things break, and we sometimes need to take it down to fix or improve them.
We may change features over time. If we make a change that materially reduces what you have already paid for, we will tell you in the app first.
You can stop using Fairdos whenever you like and delete your groups from within the app. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, and we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for anything else that cannot be excluded under English law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for losses arising from your own entry of incorrect figures, or for any failure of another group member to pay what they owe.
Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of £100 or the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Fairdos is supplied for personal use. If you use it for business purposes, we have no liability to you for loss of profit, business, goodwill or business opportunity.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to digital content that is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Advice on those rights is available from Citizens Advice.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a term at some point doesn't mean we've given it up. We may transfer these terms to another company, and will tell you if we do.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
We may update these terms. The version number and date at the top will change, and we will tell you in the app about anything material before it takes effect.
