Fairdos

Fairdos.

/ˈfɛː duːz/ · that’s fair — we’re even

Split the cost of a holiday, a houseshare, or a curry. No subscription. No ads. And we delete the lot when you’re done with it.

The free bit

Everything works. Nothing is crippled.

Most splitting apps give you a hobbled version and charge to undo it — a cap on how many expenses you can add in a day, currency conversion held back until you pay, adverts in between. Fairdos doesn’t do any of that. One group at a time is free forever, and every feature in it works.

Free, alwaysOne live group
  • Unlimited people and unlimited expenses
  • Split equally, by share, by percentage or by exact amounts
  • See who owes whom — the whole picture, not just your bit
  • Debt simplification, so six people make two payments instead of fifteen
  • Join by link. No account, no email, no sign-in
  • Multiple currencies, with the rate your card actually charged
  • Receipt photos, categories and recurring costs
  • Export to Excel whenever you like
  • Every edit logged — who added it, who changed it, who deleted it
  • No adverts. Not now, not later

How it goes

Three steps, then forget about it

Start a group and send the link

Name it, share it in the group chat. Everyone else taps the link and they’re in — no sign-up, no app-store detour before they can see anything.

Chuck expenses in as they happen

Whoever paid, whatever it was, however it splits. Add ten at once on the flight home if you’d rather — there’s no daily limit to bump into.

Settle up with a link, not your account number

Fairdos works out the fewest payments that square everyone off, then sends a payment link you already use. We never ask for your sort code, and we never hold your money.

What it costs

Pay once, per group. Never per month.

Your group is free and stays free. You only pay to keep a group past 90 quiet days, or to run a second one alongside your first — the flatshare ledger and the trip to Lisbon at the same time. One person pays, the app adds it to the group as an expense, and it splits like everything else.

One group

£3.99

≈ 67p each, split six ways

Unlocked for good. No renewal, nothing to cancel.

Three groups

£8.99

£3.00 a group · save 25%

Credits sit on your account until you use them. They never expire.

Best value

Every group, forever

£14.99

Pays for itself on the fourth

For whoever always ends up organising it. One payment, then never again.

For comparison: Splitwise Pro is £39.99 a year, per person, every year. Six of you on Fairdos, once, is £3.99.

The awkward questions

What we do with your stuff

We delete your group 90 days after it goes quiet Not as a punishment — as housekeeping. You get warnings at 14, 7 and 1 day, and a complete copy lands on your phone before anything is removed from our servers. An active group never expires, however many years it runs.
We never see your bank details Settling up uses a payment link you already have — Monzo, Revolut, PayPal. We store a link, not an account number, so there is nothing worth stealing.
No adverts, no trackers, nothing sold We make money when someone unlocks a second group. That’s the entire business model, and it means we have no reason to watch you.
Payments go through Apple and Google Your card never touches us. We couldn’t leak it if we tried.
